I believe that everyone should experience the magic of dance , music, and theatre.

I believe that children and adults learn through the arts life skills that propel them to greater success in other areas of their lives.

I believe that mental health is improved when you experience that success.

I believe that confidence, creativity, originality, and story-telling skills are critical in our current culture.

I believe that no one can predict what you can achieve.

I believe in offering quality arts education and a safe, nurturing environment to allow students to become their best self.

My Story

Amy Cave began dancing at age 2 at the Nita Braun Talent Workshop in Farmers Branch.  She studied tap, ballet, and jazz under both Nita Braun and former Radio City Rockette Mary Six Rupert.  At age 10 she joined the JTM Studio of Performing Arts and trained in tap, ballet, jazz, and musical theatre with Jackie Troup Miller, Pat Cook, Mistie Miller Porter, and Persis Forster.

Ms. Cave studied both theatre and dance in college working with Jane Quetin, Monica Saba, and many others.  She received her BA in Arts and Performance from the University of Texas at Dallas.  Amy is also a member of Texas Association Teacher's of Dancing, Inc. and is a certified teacher.  She is a Tap Examiner for TATD.  Amy began teaching in 1988 and took over the studio in 2005.

Amy danced professionally in industrials and musicals and has choreographed and directed both professional and community productions throughout the DFW metroplex.  She also works with local elementary, middle school and high school choirs, show choirs, and theatre programs.  Ms. Cave is a founding member of the SAM Tap Trio.

She is proud wife to Steve and mom to Jonathan, Caroline, and Andrew.
